This is a list of the greatest Madonna songs. Madonna was an artist that I was really into at various times in my life. At one stage I had all of her albums. She was one of the greatest musical artists of the eighties and was certainly one of the very top music video artists of all time. Her videos were as iconic as her songs. Some of these are not singles but album cuts. I can recall the days of listening to all of the albums time and time again back in the nineties. I believe she is underrated in a lot of ways, but here they are, her 50 greatest songs.

The Wonder Years is one of the greatest shows of all time. It was part sitcom, part drama. There were genuinely emotional and heartfelt moments along with some really hilarious and unforgettable moments. They had a way of making everything feel epic. Of course, the show centers around Kevin Arnold. He is the narrator and tells us about his time growing up in the late sixties. 

These are my favorite episodes. They may not be the best ones, but they are my favorite ones.

Some of them are silly and over the top. There are many of the famous hair metal ballads on here. They are still some of my favorites of all time. Some of these songs have amazing solos, guitars and drums. Some of them are genuinely moving as well. The videos at this time were at their peak as well. Greatest Hair Metal Bands

 Greatest Hair Metal Bands (September 2014)

This is a list of the biggest hair metal bands of the eighties and early nineties. It is a much maligned genre. Many seem to really hate it. I can understand why to an extent, but I still love the music and the bands. Say what you will, they were larger than life rock stars. They lived the lifestyle, wore the clothes and had parties. The music associated with neon, hair spray and the Sunset Strip. In away it was silly and over the top, but it was also fun and exciting. Let's face it, there really is no music in the past 15 years that comes anywhere close.

There are other bands that I did not count as in the genre but others may are; Guns N' Roses, Van Halen, Kiss, Aerosmith and Ozzy Osborne. They all transcend the genre and straddle genres as well.

A Nightmare on Elm Street was one of the greatest horror movie franchises of all time. It perfected the set piece sequence and produced some of the greatest on screen visuals in any horror film. The concept of an individual who can infiltrate dreams and become virtually anything lends itself to imaginative story telling and visuals. The make up and special effects still hold up in a lot of cases to this day. These are some of the most memorable moments that I can remember. The films are a step above their slasher film contemporaries in a lot of ways. A lot of these scenes are iconic.
