Greatest Gary Cooper films (June 2019)
Gary Cooper was another of the greatest stars of the golden age of Hollywood. It is crazy how many legends were in the business at the same time. These are the greatest films of his that I have seen. I have not seen Pride of the Yankees. That is the only reason it is not on the list. Gary Cooper projected a strength, but also an honesty and a vulnerability. There was a certain amount integrity and kindness behind his eyes. He seemed to always play someone that people could believe in and could get behind.
