Greatest Akira Kurosawa Films (April 2018)
Kurosawa is a legend of cinema. He has had a profound influence across the board. His films have directly influenced everything from Spaghetti Westerns to Star Wars. Some of his films are influenced by Shakespere's plays such as Macbeth and King Lear. These are his best. I will add that I acknowledge that three of his best are not yet ranked here because I had not yet seen them at the time. These being; High and Low, The Bad Sleep Well and Red Beard. I may make an addendum to this list once I have seen all three. I believe that they will deserve a place, based on their reputation.
