Tom Petty is one of the greatest ever. The older I get, the more I seem to appreciate his music. He created some of the greatest songs of all time. He is a legend on the lines of Bruce Springsteen or John Mellencamp. He was also a very cool guy. I used to really enjoy listening to him talk on the history of rock n' roll and other shows. Some of his quotes still stay with me. He was amazing even if the video for don't come around here no more still gives me major nightmares.
