David Lean is one of the greatest directors to ever live. Most of these films are works of art. Each frame is like its own masterpiece. You can tell that he took the time to plan every shot. The cinematography in is best films is almost unmatched. The best are some of the greatest films ever made by anyone, I truly believe that. Some of them can best be described as epics.
