Everyone who appeared at the Monterrey Pop Festival

Everyone who appeared at the Monterrey Pop Festival (September 2019)

The Monterrey Pop Festival happened before Woodstock. It was arranged mainly by the Mamas and the Papas and Lou Adler. It was the first major US show for both The Who and Jimi Hendrix. It was also the first major show for Otis Redding and Janis Joplin. Some of the performances are truly legendary. It is also interesting to see who wasn't there. You would think bands such as the Doors and Cream would have been there.
