Greatest Marlene Dietrich films

Greatest Marlene Dietrich films (April 2019)

Dietrich is an iconic actress for so many reasons. Her influence in far reaching. She clearly had an influence on everyone from Madonna to Cyndi Lauper to Freddie Mercury. She did things on the screen that were unthinkable at the time. Her work with Joseph Von Sternberg was legendary, but she was so much more than just a photogenic face. These are her best films. Some of the lower ones are actually better films, but her role in them is less. She was also a very good singer in her own right.

Most disappointing films that I have seen

Most disappointing films that I have seen (March 2019)

These are the most disappointing films that I have ever seen. They are not the worst I have ever scene. A few of them aren't even really that bad, but they failed to live up to expectations. Most of these are sequels or reboots. Many of them were victims of their own hype. The Last Jedi is the worst though because it actually damaged other movies. I can't think of many other films that can say that.

10. The Dark Knight Rises

9. Freddy vs. Jason

8. Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the crystal skull

7. Ghostbusters (reboot)
