Favorite Westerns of all time (August 2016)
Westerns have been a great film genre. Of course, they are not as popular as they once were, but the old west still holds a charm and a fascination to it. These are my favorites. Some of these are among the best films in any genre. By the way, this list was made before I saw Heaven's Gate. Despite the flack it gets, I feel like it is one of the best westerns I have ever seen. It is very underrated.

I regret that in the five years since I wrote this list that there are not many new songs that I would add. Popular music has really dried up in the last decade. There are lots of reasons. I have even stopped listening to the charts. It's a sad state of affairs. but let's remember the better times. These are the greatest songs from 2000 to 2016. They are mainly popular, chart based type music. Of course, this is largely impacted by my opinion, so everyone will have their own.
